Andrew Lloyd Webber is planning to give theatre fans a big show they can watch from home every Friday throughout the coronavirus lockdown.
Beginning this week (April 3, 2020), the impresario will be uploading footage from complete musicals on THE SHOWS MUST GO ON YouTube channel, beginning with a 2000 stage production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, starring Donny Osmond, Maria Friedman, Richard Attenborough, and Joan Collins.

"When Tim Rice came up with the idea of writing about the last seven days of the life of Christ, nobody thought that it could remotely work as a theater show," Webber told host Seth Rudetsky.
