Ander Herrera has reportedly turned down a move to another Premier League club out of respect for Manchester United.
According to Adam Clayton, who was speaking on The Athletic's Football Podcast, the Spaniard who is currently at PSG has refused to sign for Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur.
Explaining the 32-year-old's decision, Clayton said: "PSG's Ander Herrera was mentioned as a name in contention for a swap deal with Tanguy Ndombele at Tottenham.
"But he's happy at PSG and I'm told that he would only want to play for Manchester United in England."
Herrera has made 92 appearances for the Ligue 1 club since moving to the French capital in 2019.
Elsewhere, Manchester United youngster Reece Devine is believed to be a target for Walsall of League Two.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at St Johnstone up in Scotland before being recalled in January, Football Insider reports.
Devine made his European debut during a 1-1 draw against Galatasaray in Turkey.
Matty Taylor, manager of the Saddlers, expressed in November his commitment to signing a full back in January.
