‘American Idol’ Contestant Shows Off His Unique Style With Bob Marley Cover

The coronavirus pandemic has left millions across the world stationed and holed up inside their homes. While working from home is become the new normal, actress Jonas, who is currently in the US, seems to be missing India.

Ryan Seacrest is bringing back a prop for the upcoming “American Idol” shows.

This is an American Idol blast from the past. After production was shutdown in the wake of social distancing guidelines to curb the spread of the coronavirus, ABC was forced to change things up for American Idol.

American Idol is all set to air its’ remote shows starting this weekend.

“American Idol” viewers have made their decision after the judges had Grace Leer and Lauren Mascitti compete against each other for a spot in the top 20.

Even a global pandemic will not stop Ryan Seacrest from finding the next American Idol. The singing competition will move forward with the newest season using remote performances from its final 20 contestants, TV Guide has learned.

LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) – The search for a superstar must continue. After taking some time to make the decision on how to proceed with “American Idol” as it heads into what should have been its live, shiny floor studio portion of the season, ABC has confirmed that it will continue via remote performances.

American Idol season 18 will continue, pandemic or no pandemic.  ABC announced today that the show will continue to film, while following all stay at home guidelines, with the top 20 performing from their own homes while the judges judge from their own homes, with viewers voting from—you guessed it—their homes. Allow judge Katy Perry to explain: "How will American Idol continue? I'll be judging from California, Lionel Richie from LA, Luke Bryan & Bobby Bones in Nashville.

On with the show! 

American Idol is moving ahead with its live shows, with contestants, judges and host Ryan Seacrest all filming from their homes.The live rounds will begin April 26 on ABC with the top 20 contestants. Seacrest will host from his home in Los Angeles, and judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan and in-house mentor Bobby Bones will also conference in remotely.

We’ve hit the Final Judgement on American Idol, wherein the 40 contestants who survived Hollywood week are jetted off to Hawaii for one last performance before judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan chop them down to the Top 20. Host Ryan Seacrest gives us a pre-show announcement to let viewers know these episodes were previously recorded in January, before the current health crisis tightened its grip on the world and halted production on the series.

American Idol moved to sunny Hawaii for Sunday night’s pre-recorded episode of Top 40 performances. And it was Francisco Martin who enjoyed one of the brightest moments.
