“Yellowjackets” fans will have to wait a little bit longer for Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated addictive series to hit Showtime. Showrunners and co-creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson told TheWrap on Tuesday that production begins at the end of August, so we can’t expect the series to return until early 2023 at the earliest.The first season, which has received seven Emmy nominations including “Best Drama Series, Best Lead Actress (Melanie Lynskey) and Best Supporting Actress (Christina Ricci), premiered in November 2021.“We’re looking into the first quarter of 2023,” says Lyle of a “Yellowjackets” Season 2 premiere date, who is hard at work with Nickerson and co-showrunner Jonathan Lisco.

Writer Sarah Burgess and star Sarah Paulson said they were trying to understand and depict what motivated Linda Tripp in Impeachment: American Crime Story. The FX limited series depicts the impeachment hearings of President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen) after his affair with Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein). Paulson plays Tripp, who recorded Lewinsky’s phone calls with Clinton and gave them to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr (Dan Bakkedahl).

EXCLUSIVE: Annaleigh Ashford is set to co-star opposite Sarah Paulson in Searchlight Pictures’ upcoming horror thriller Dust. Will Joines and Karrie Crouse are directing the pic, which was penned by Crouse.  The film will stream on Disney’s DTC platforms as a Hulu Original in the U.S., with additional release plans to be announced.  Principal photography is set to commence late August. Paulson is also exec producing.
