‘American Horror Story’: Ryan Murphy Unveils ‘Double Feature’ Poster, FX Drops Teaser

American Story family, it has been announced.The producer was behind the hugely successful American Horror Story and American Crime Story, both of which are set to return to screens in the coming weeks.Now it has been confirmed that fans will soon be able to tune into two new anthology shows in a similar limited series format.

The upcoming 10-episode 10th season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story is titled Double Feature, reflecting the installment’s unusual structure — it contains two separate stories. Part I: Red Tide is set by the sea, while Part 2: Death Valley is set by the sand.

FX has renewed Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Stories” for a second installment, FX Entertainment President Eric Schrier said Friday at FX’s second (of three) TCA (Television Critics Association) day. Season 2 of the anthology series will debut in 2022.The “American Horror Story” spinoff debuted in July as the most-watched FX on Hulu series to date.

Ryan Murphy’s American Story banner is expanding further with the greenlight of two new spinoffs. FX and 20th Television have closed a deal for American Sports Story and American Love Story spinoff limited series from Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson. The series orders were announced Friday during FX’s TCA day.

Ryan Murphy first told us about his idea for  on Deadline’s Crew Call in June and he FX has made it official today that the fourth installment of the series is currently in development.

The Bill Clinton/ Monica Lewinsky scandal gripped the nation like no other story in the 1990s, save for O.J Simpson’s murder trial (the subject of the first season of “American Crime Story.”). “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” based on President Bill Clinton’s 1998 impeachment trial, details the seemingly never-ending saga and its memorable cast of characters like Lewinsky, Paula Jones, Linda Tripp, and Matt Drudge.

FX has finally released the trailer for Ryan Murphy’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” which stars Clive Owen as President Bill Clinton — who swears he “did not have sexual relations” with Monica Lewinsky (played by Beanie Feldstein).In addition to Feldstein as Lewinsky and Owen as President Clinton, “Impeachment: American Crime Story” stars Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp, Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones, Billy Eichner as Matt Drudge and Cobie Smulders as Ann Coulter.

American Horror Stories has set a release date for next month on Disney+.The forthcoming anthology series, a spin-off from Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story, will premiere on the streaming platform on September 8.The new series, made up of seven episodes, will feature a different horror story in each episode set in the first season’s Murder House.AHS recurring cast members Matt Bomer, Billie Lourd, Naomi Grossman, and John Carroll Lynch are all confirmed for the new series.
