Chapel Hart – a singing trio from a small town in Mississippi – came out and immediately won over the judges with their enthusiasm and energy.
They then performed their original song titled “You Can Have Him, Jolene” which was inspired by and an ode to Dolly Parton and her hit song “Jolene.”
“We were so inspired by the song ‘Jolene,’ and we just love the story line. And we figured, though, from 1973 to 2022, we could not still be fighting over the same man,” singer Danica Hart explained. “So we decided to tell her, ‘You can just have him, Jolene.’”
“I mean, that was fantastic!” Simon Cowell gushed after the performance. “I love you. And I loved the choreography going on around you. I mean, it was just brilliant.”
Simon and the rest of the judges agreed that if they hadn’t already given out their Golden Buzzers earlier in the season, Chapel Hart would have earned the honor.
The judges then huddled up before all four of them hit the Golden Buzzer, sending Chapel Hart straight through to the live shows.

The new video gives a little more context to the future stars audition.

Where the Smiths live in Maryville, Tennessee — an hour from Dollywood — Parton isn’t just a nationally beloved entertainer, Adrienne explained to the publication, but a “local hero.” In building their short-term rental shrine, they incorporated both Parton’s image and aesthetic, commissioning tattoo artist Mira Mariah to create a Dolly mural on the vehicle’s exterior and filling the interior with various usable Parton tchotchkes.
