Darius Danesh has passed away aged 41, his family have confirmed.The singer shot to fame on Popstars in 2001 before finding further success on Pop Idol the following year. Announcing the news of his untimely death, his family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darius Campbell Danesh. Darius was found unresponsive in bed in his apartment room in Rochester, Minnesota, on August 11 and was pronounced dead in the afternoon by the local medical examiners’ office.

The X Factor is in the works, according to new reports.Two production companies are believed to be working on the TV special, which will include interviews with former contestants who claim “bullying, exploitation and harassment” took place off-camera on the singing competition.According to The Mail On Sunday, a number of X Factor stars have agreed to take part, including “at least one” of judge Simon Cowell‘s former aides.A source told the publication: “There are currently some former contestants telling their stories for the programme. There are some out there who believe they were mistreated by the X Factor machine.

Most fans saw Harry Styles audition on X Factor UK with his rendition of “Isn’t She Lovely,” but in the newly released extended audition, we see that actually wasn’t the first song he auditioned with!

There's a pre-audition interview in which Styles talks about his hometown and, at that point, the extent of his career in music.Before heading to the audition stage to face the three judges — Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh — and the boisterous crowd, Styles' family bombards him with «good luck» kisses before sending him off.
