Amber Heard has claimed that ex-husband Johnny Depp held his dog out of the window of a moving vehicle and "howled like an animal" as she took to the stand in court on Wednesday.
During her testimony, the actress told jurors the incident happened in March 2013, claiming that her then husband had binged on cocaine and drink throughout the night and repeatedly accused her of infidelity, writes The Mirror.
The 58-year-old is suing Amber for libel over a 2018 article she penned in The Washington Post, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her while they were together.
Amber claimed she was finally able to get Johnny to leave her home later in the evening after he had "seemingly calmed down" and "reluctantly" agreed to go with him to go to a photoshoot.
Amber told the court: "We were driving up this street and he has the window down, he's smoking. At some point he starts howling out of the window.
"If I remember correctly he grabs Boo, his dog, who is a slightly chunkier Yorkshire Terrier, he grabs Boo and holds Boo out of the window of the moving car, and he's howling like an animal while holding the dog out the window.
"And everyone in the car -I'll never forget it - everyone just froze. No one did anything.
"I too was torn as to what I should do because I didn’t want to do anything to cause him to react and drop the dog.
"It was just this eerie moment where he was howling and holding this animal out the window… and I have this eerie memory of no one really reacting to him."
Earlier, the actress told the court she had been "heartbroken" the first time Johnny had allegedly been violent towards her and slapped her three times across the face.
"(It was) seemingly so stupid and insignificant (but) I
