The offshore weekend is estimated at $81.7M, an incredible hold of -20%, to lift the international box office cume to $257M in 64 markets. This does not include big Tom Cruise hub Korea which rolls out on June 23 (nor are China and Russia in the mix).

Not only is that just a 33% drop from the Tom Cruise film’s $126.7 million 3-day opening, but it is also higher than the opening weekend of every other film in Cruise’s career, including every “Mission: Impossible” film. With this result, “Top Gun: Maverick” will see its domestic total soar to $290 million by the end of the weekend, already making it the top domestic grosser of Cruise’s career before inflation adjustment.

Paramount/Skydance’s Top Gun: Maverick has grossed $185M at the international box office through Thursday. This puts it on course to cross $200M today in offshore play. Couple that with domestic’s equally supersonic performance, and Maverick will reach $400M+ global in less than two full frames of play.

Meghan's dad Thomas has now left hospital five days after he was rushed to a hospital near his home in Rosarito, Mexico and was later transferred to another medical facility in San Diego, California.Thomas' stroke was caused by a blood clot on the right side of his brain. After loosing his speech, but making "remarkable progress" Thomas told the Mail on Sunday: "I feel hugely grateful and know how lucky I am to be alive.

Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick is soaring in its overseas debuts, clocking $33M from 47 markets at the international box office through Thursday. The Tom Cruise-starrer officially launched on Wednesday offshore, following paid previews in some hubs, and adds another 15 markets today, bringing the total to 62 in what is the studio’s widest release ever internationally on nearly 24,000 screens.

The 77-year-old former television lighting director, who lives in Mexico, was reportedly transferred across the border in an ambulance from Tijuana, Mexico to a facility in Chula Vista, California at around 9:30 p.m. Thomas had to "write down his symptoms on a piece of paper" as he lost his speech and required the use of an oxygen mask, according to TMZ.
