BREAKING: Amazon Studios announced wide it has acquired North American rights to Herself, directed by Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!, The Iron Lady). The inspirational story about hope, perseverance and community world premiered Friday at the Sundance Film Festival. Amazon Studios is planning a theatrical release later this year.

Bing & Ruth—the ambient music project led by David Moore—has announced a new tour. European dates kick off with a set at the Drogheda Arts Festival in Ireland on May 2, while North American dates begin June 3 with a show at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City. Moore is set to perform with a live ensemble that features himself on organ. The tour is in support of a new album, due out later this year.
Amazon Studios has signed on to finance and distribute “The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,” a YA adaptation from Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman and FilmNation.
The collaborative effort between Calexico and Iron & Wine have announced a North American co-headlining tour with Andrew Bird. Oh Sees have announced a September tour of North America. The band, joined on the road by Mr. Elevator, will play 18 shows that month. The North American shows follow spring and summer stops in the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as a May 9 benefit show in Los Angeles to support Elizabeth House and the East Los Angeles Women’s Center.
After getting the band back together in 2019, Billboard confirmed on Wednesday (Feb. 12) that Three 6 Mafia is reuniting for a string of concerts around the United States in 2020.

Niall Horan is all set to release his latest album next month! His highly anticipated album titled Heartbreak Weather will release on March 13 and will be his second solo album after One Direction split. In a statement about his new album, the 26-year-old singer stated that he tried to do something different with the upcoming project by telling a story through the tracks. Horan will promote the new album with a North American tour that is scheduled to launch on April 20.
David Byrne and the Weeknd will appear as musical guests on upcoming episodes of Saturday Night Live. Byrne will perform on the February 29 episode (hosted by John Mulaney). The Weeknd will follow the next week, on March 7, on an episode hosted by Daniel Craig. Check out SNL’s announcement below.
The seemingly indefatigable Rolling Stones will return to North American for a 15-city stadium tour starting May 8.The outing -- the fourth leg of the No Filter Tour, which extends into its fourth year -- kicks off at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego and includes markets the legends have not played in more than a decade. Sony Pictures Classics has teamed with Sony’s Stage 6 Films to oversee the global release of Heidi Ewing’s feature narrative debut “I Carry You With Me (Te Llevo Conmigo),” a gay love story about two men who immigrate to the United States. The deal follows the movie’s enthusiastic reception at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The romantic drama debuted to multiple standing ovations in Park City, where it was shown in the NEXT section. It will be released later this year.
