The co-stars attended a Cinema Society screening of their new Star Wars series on Monday night (June 3) at The Whitby Hotel in New York City.
Amandla and Jodie were joined by co-stars Rebecca Henderson and Margarita Levieva, as well as series creator Leslye Headland.
In The Acolyte, an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems. The first two episodes are streaming now on Disney+. Watch the trailer!

The Acolyte star Amandla Stenberg has written and released a song in response to a racist backlash against the Star Wars prequel show.The show is set 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and the first four episodes are streaming now on Disney+.It was created by Russian Doll’s Leslye Headland and stars Stenberg (The Hate U Give, Bodies Bodies Bodies) in the twin lead roles of Osha and Mae.
