The Women’s World Cup is officially underway, and former footballer Alex Scott kicked off her coverage of the event with a stunning new hair colour. Taking to her Instagram last week, Alex shared that not only had she opted for a new colour, but she’d also ditched the expensive salon appointments in favour of dying her own hair, as she braved the change with the help of Garnier’s brand new GOOD range.
Although she’d never dyed her own hair before, Alex took a leap and opted for the Garnier GOOD Shade 5.0 Coffee Roast Brown, £9 here (was £12), to give her hair a fresh new colour before her World Cup coverage began. As one of the latest ambassadors of the brand, Alex has been working closely with Garnier in the run up to her latest presenting job, and she revealed that she chose the shade herself, saying: “I wanted a brown that was warm but didn’t feel too heavy for summer.
Garnier GOOD Shade 5.0 Coffee Roast Brown is exactly the rich brown I was after.” Although she’d never been brave enough to dye her own hair, Alex admitted it was a lot easier than she thought, and the results speak for themselves, as Alex has been left with a rich, warm brown shade that looks majorly glossy and healthy. Alex added: “Garnier GOOD is super stress-free as it goes on just like a hair mask with a non-drip cream formula, and the result is this rich, glossy deep colour.
I was worried about dying my hair and drying it out, but it honestly feels really healthy and nourished.” Unlike most other at home hair dyes, which use a liquid format and a fiddly nozzle that makes it easy to miss patches of hair, not to mention requires multiple bottles for longer or thicker hair, Garnier’s mask-like formula makes it much easier to apply yourself.
