Alejandro Garnacho's brother has backed Erik ten Hag to 'write history' after it was revealed the Dutchman will remain as Manchester United manager.
Despite beating Manchester City in last month's FA Cup final, the Dutchman's future had been uncertain in the weeks following as a result of the club posting its worst-ever finish in the Premier League. However, after an end-of-season review at Old Trafford, INEOS have decided to stay put with Ten Hag and are set to start contract negotiations with the 54-year-old.
In the wake of the news, Garnacho's brother, Roberto, hailed the Dutchman and backed him and his brother, Alejandro, to 'write history' at Old Trafford.

"Ten Hag I love you," wrote Roberto Garnacho on X on Tuesday. "My boss, our boss, we are here to write a history."
Garnacho made his United debut under interim manager Ralf Rangnick in April 2022, but it was under Ten Hag that the forward has flourished in recent seasons, making 86 appearances across all competitions for the Reds.
Following last month's FA Cup final victory, Ten Hag embraced youngsters Kobbie Mainoo and Garnacho, two players he has nurtured during his time in the Old Trafford dugout.
"He's progressing very well and we are very pleased with this," said Ten Hag of Garnacho in April. "His contribution today was huge, his runs, his dribbles. It's attractive as well for the audience, obviously we want to show something."
