Alan Carr's marriage to Paul Drayton "never recovered" after Paul shared a photo of himself with a black eye last year, it has been reported. Comedian Alan's husband Paul shared a photo of himself on Instagram in April last year, showing himself with an injury to his eye. Paul wrote in the caption: "We had a bad row".
Paul later removed the photo of himself and released a statement insisting his 45 year old husband would "never hit me". And Alan, who was away filming in Wales at the time, shared a statement explain Paul had "fell off the wagon". And now a friend has reportedly told the Daily Mail the incident was the "final straw" for Alan, who is said to be leaning on his pal Adele for support. A source told MailOnline: "Alan knew Paul's claim was potentially career threatening and could have had disastrous consequences. "They managed to correct the situation, leaving Alan's reputation intact, but it could have been so much worse and the final straw in a line of issues.
