St Andrew’s Hospice will accept all acute hospice in-patient admissions from across Lanarkshire during the coronavirus emergency to help create additional healthcare capacity across the county.
The Airdrie facility is to look after patients from across the county; while South Lanarkshire counterpart Kilbryde Hospice, located beside Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride, will be providing palliative care for Covid-19 patients.
Both hospices have been working closely with NHS Lanarkshire to help
