Adele 'in talks' with new Las Vegas venue after cancelling Caesars Palace shows

Jem Aswad Senior Music EditorA Nevada federal judge has ordered the owners of Las Vegas’ KAOS nightclub to pay DJ-artist Kaskade nearly $8 million after the venue cancelled his his $300,000 per night residency.The U.S. District Court in Nevada made its decision Friday following a bench trial in November, and ruled in favor of and awarded $7,950,000 to Kaskade (real name: Ryan Raddon) and Big City Dynasty Corp.

However, the star is rumoured to be finally taking to the Las Vegas hotel's stage during the summer for a run of dates between June and September, due to a gap in the current schedule at the venue.The iconic Caesars Palace is set to host Keith Urban until 18 June and Rod Stewart is due to take over on 23 September, leaving a potential gap in which Adele could reschedule her residency dates in.

Adele has said that the delays which affected her Las Vegas residency meant the show was not at the quality she wanted.The singer was due to start the residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on January 21, with the run of shows extending through to April. However, Adele postponed the gigs the day before the opening night, telling her fans in a video message that her show wasn’t ready.In an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (February 11), Adele commented further on why she made the decision.“I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something else together in time, and that was why it was so last minute,” she said.
