As another Guy Ritchie movie hits theaters this weekend, “The Covenant,” Hollywood finds the director in the most prolific chapter of his career. Ritchie’s done five films in four years, with another, “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” filming now.

Kosinski will produce the feature alongside seven-time Formula One champion Sir Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films banner, and Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Ehren Kruger, who did similar honors on “Top Gun: Maverick,” is writing the screenplay.  The racing feature stars Pitt as a former driver who returns to the sport. Idris will play his teammate. Aside from that, engines will be revved, finish lines will be crossed, cars will collide… OK, we really have no idea what happens on or off the track. But since the movie is being made in cooperation with Formula One, the action sequences will likely be a standout.

While rumors have been swirling for weeks, Deadline is hearing Warner Bros. is now in negotiations to come on to develop Heat 2, the sequel to the 1995 classic that Mann recently turned into a novel that became a New York Time #1 best-seller when it was published last August. On top of Warner Bros. in talks to return, insiders add that Adam Driver, who recently starred in Mann’s Ferrari pic, is in discussions with Mann to play young Neil McCauley in the movie.

Apple Original Films has announced that Ridley Scott’s upcoming historical epic “Napoleon” will have an exclusive theatrical release partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment on Wednesday, November 22, before streaming globally on Apple TV+. They haven’t announced a streaming date yet but we suspect it will be around Christmas.

Martin Scorsese’s upcoming movie has been given a really long run-time, and some fans aren’t happy.The long-awaited film is called Killers Of The Flower Moon, and is expected to premiere later this year. However, as reported by Variety, it will have a run-time of close to four hours.Set to premiere at Cannes next month (May 20), the film is Scorsese’s first time presenting a film at the festival in over three decades – following his win for best director for the 1986 film, After Hours.

Today it was announced that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and Richard Madden are set to star in Killer Heat, from Amazon Studios. Philippe Lacôte is directing the film, which is based on Jo Nesbø’s short story The Jealousy Man, from a script penned by Roberto Bentivegna (House of Gucci), with revisions by Oscar and BAFTA-nominated screenwriter Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies; Treason). Makeready’s Brad Weston is producing the film, with Jo Nesbø (bestselling Harry Hole book series), Niclas Salomonsson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Karnowski, and Makeready’s Collin Creighton executive producing. Makeready’s Oscar Montemayor will associate produce.

Olivia Hawkins has revealed that she’s going to feature in the new Fast & Furious film, Fast X.The Love Island star will star in the film, which is set to hit screens next month, alongside huge Hollywood names like Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Momoa. Fast X marks the final instalment of the popular Fast & Furious franchise, bringing it to an end after 22 years of action-packed films. Olivia revealed she was going to feature in the film while chatting to fellow Love Islander Toby Aromolaran on his Fancy A Chat? podcast.The scenes were filmed prior to Olivia’s villa stint.
