Following the announcement from Buckingham Palace on Tuesday that King Charles III’s coronation at Westminster Abbey will be on May 6 next year, some on social media have been debating if the date could be a slight to his son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  May 6 also happens to be their son Archie’s birthday. He will turn 4 during the coronation.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had a strained relationship with the rest of the royal family after they decided to step down as senior royals in 2020 and move to California.  Charles spoke kindly of the couple in his first speech as king on Sept.

The episode will feature comedian and actor Margaret Cho in a conversation about Asian American tropes in the entertainment industry. In light of Queen Elizabeth II’s death on Sept. 9, the recently launched “Archetypes” delayed the release of new episodes “during the official mourning period for Her Majesty,” according to Spotify. The royal family’s official period of mourning ended on Sept. 26, seven days after the Queen’s funeral. Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Price Harry were in the United Kingdom for three weeks following the Queen’s death. Upon returning home to California, the couple intends to take a week off to spend time with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan, 41, was due to be honoured at an event hosted by Variety, to celebrate the publication of its ‘Power of Women’ issue on September 28. The Duchess of Sussex had been approached by the magazine to appear alongside other famous women including Hillary and Chelsea Clinton, as they discussed the "tropes holding women back”.
