After a three week hiatus in respect of the royal mourning period, Meghan Markle’s new podcast episode will officially return next week on Tuesday October 4th. The Duchess of Sussex's ‘Archetypes' podcast had previously been postponed following the death of The Queen, as Meghan and husband Prince Harry grieved his beloved grandmother.
Following the end of the mourning period this week, it has officially been announced that Meghan’s podcast will now return, with Variety magazine reporting that the upcoming instalment will feature comedian and actor Margaret Cho sharing her experience and views on Asian American tropes in the entertainment industry. Launched in August this year, just weeks before the Queen sadly passed away, the podcast was highly anticipated by many fans, with Spotify even describing it as "refreshing and dynamic”.
