‘A Haunting in Venice’ Scares Up Top Spot at U.K., Ireland Box Office

As of this writing, Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” has grossed more than $900 million at the global box office. That’s well above everyone’s highest expectations.

It’s aiming for $15 million in its opening weekend, which would be the lowest of the franchise. There’s a chance, though, it could slightly exceed expectations with $17 million.
