‘9-1-1’: Arielle Kebbel Joins Fox Drama Series

EXCLUSIVE: Ashley Reyes (How I Met Your Father, American Gods) has been tapped as a lead opposite Jared Padalecki in the CW’s Walker. Reyes, who has joined the cast as a series regular, will first appear in the next episode, “Nudge”, slated to premiere March 3.

Written by Katie Wech and directed by Tamra Davis, Good Sam centers on Sam (Bush), a talented yet stifled heart surgeon who embraces her leadership role after her renowned and pompous boss Dr. Rob “Griff” Griffith falls into a coma. Rowell plays Tina Kingsley, a high-powered, sophisticated, chairwoman of the hospital board with the kind of power that does not assert itself. Alienated from her son Malcolm (Edwin Hodge), Tina possesses a strong will to take what’s in her sights, even when it means navigating complicated relationships from her past. Rowell created, directs and stars in The Rich and the Ruthless, which recently moved to BET+. Her previous notable credits include Diagnosis Murder and Dumb and Dumber. Emmy-nominated Rowell is an 11-time NAACP Image Award winner for The Young and the Restless. Rowell is repped by Mavrick Artists and Adam Mehr at McCathern LLP.

Selome Hailu Adriana Martínez Barrón has joined CBS as vice president of drama series development.In her new role, Martínez Barrón will oversee a significant portion of the drama programming development for CBS Entertainment’s primetime lineup. She will report to Yelena Chak, executive vice president of drama series development.Martínez Barrón most recently served as vice president of film at Unbelievable Entertainment, Eva Longoria’s production company.

Andrew Rannells has been tapped for a recurring role in Hulu limited series Immigrant (working title), starring Kumail Nanjiani, Annaleigh Ashford and Murray Bartlett, from Pam & Tommy creator Robert Siegel.

Apple TV+ has formalized a series order for The New Look, a World War II-set drama about fashion icons Christian Dior and Coco Chanel starring Emmy winner Ben Mendelsohn and Oscar winner Juliette Binoche. The project comes from Bloodline and Damages co-creator Todd A. Kessler and Apple Studios. It marks the first series from the newly formed television producing partnership of Kessler and veteran producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, Salt).
