Several stars have been confirmed to return for the sixth installment in the Scream movie series, but unfortunately, we just received word that one star will not be back.
One of the stars confirmed to return is an original star, and several of the stars are from the new franchise film, released in January 2022. In addition, there’s a new cast member as well.
Scream 6 is set to hit theaters in March 2023 and plot details are being kept under wraps at this time.

Scream stars have supported Neve Campbell’s decision to leave the upcoming sixth instalment.The actor, who plays Sidney Prescott in the horror franchise, announced this week she rejected the chance to reprise her role in Scream 6 as “the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise”.Speaking to Variety, Campbell said: “Sadly, I won’t be making the next Scream film. Shelby Scott, the former president of AFTRA who helped spearhead the 2012 merger of SAG and AFTRA, has died. She was 86. Scott, a longtime television news broadcaster, served as AFTRA’s national president from 1993-2001.
