30 Rock cast reuniting for TV special

For the latest edition of his “Reunited Apart” YouTube series, Josh Gad hosted a virtual reunion of one of the most beloved movies of the 1980s, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”.

The cast of Hamilton has reunited! Virtually, that is.

Tina Fey – the creator, executive producer, writer, and star of the classic NBC sitcom 30 Rock – has apologized for using “race-changing makeup” on the series that ran on the peacock network from 2006 to 2013. The 16-time Emmy-winning show also starred Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan, and Jack McBrayer.

Numerous episodes of 30 Rock will soon leave all streaming platforms if they haven't already. The episodes in question feature characters in blackface, and at the request of creator Tina Fey and NBC Universal, the four episodes will soon be unavailable to stream or buy.

NEW YORK -- At the request of co-creator Tina Fey, four episodes of the comedy “30 Rock” are being removed from circulation because they featured characters performing in blackface. The series aired on NBC from 2006 to 2013, but episodes are still being shown in television syndication and on streaming services including Hulu, Amazon Prime, iTunes and Peacock.

30 Rock that featured characters in blackface are now being pulled from streaming services and syndication. As reported by Vulture, the episodes were pulled at the request of the show's executive producers, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.  In a letter sent to the platforms that streamed 30 Rock, Fey wrote, "As we strive to do the work and do better in regards to race in America, we believe that these episodes featuring actors in race-changing makeup are best taken out of circulation.

Vulture reports that some of them are already gone. According to , the episodes being removed are “Believe in the Stars” (season 3, episode 2), “Christmas Attack Zone” (season 5, episode 10), which shows Jane Krakowski's Jenna Maroney in blackface, along with “Live From Studio 6H” (season 6, episode 19), and the East Coast version of “The Live Show” (season 5, episode 4).
