The nominations for the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards were announced this afternoon and, as expected, Lady Gaga reigned. The Oscar, Grammy and VMA winner took nine nominations with eight alongside Arianna Grande for “Rain on Me.” Billie Eilish and The Weeknd took six nominations, Taylor Swift earned five nods and Future and Drake collaborated for four.
