‘3 Body Problem’ First-Look Teaser: New Sci-Fi Series From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Showrunners David Benioff & D.B Weiss [Tudum]

A sequel to the British holiday film Your Christmas Or Mine? has been greenlit at Amazon, with stars Asa Butterfield (Sex Education) and Cora Kirk (Prey for the Devil) signed on to return.

Apple TV+ has set Wednesday, August 23 for the Season 2 premiere of acclaimed sci-fi series Invasion, from Simon Kinberg and David Weil. The series will debut with the first episode of its 10-episode second season, followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday through October 25, on Apple TV+. 

Geraldo Rivera is saying goodbye to Fox News after 23 years.The longtime journalist announced the news on Twitter Thursday. In a video from what appeared to be a speed boat, Rivera shared that he got fired from Fox News'  -- the network's weekday opinion show featuring a roundtable ensemble of five rotating Fox News personalities, and thereby quit.«Bumpy day on the North Atlantic. Anyway, I got fired from @TheFive so I quit Fox,» Rivera captioned the video.

Priscilla Presley is a lot more excited about her upcoming biopic movie than the estate of her ex-husband, Elvis. Euphoria star Jacob Elordi and Mare of Easttown’s Cailee Spaeny play the King and his wife in Sofia Coppola’s forthcoming A24 movie, Priscilla.

Love Island USA” is set to premiere on July 18 exclusively on Peacock, the streamer announced Wednesday.  The fifth season of “Love Island USA” will take place in Fiji with an all-new group of singles. Throughout the season, islanders will compete in challenges, face temptations and forge new relationships. Each week, new episodes will be available for streaming six days a week.  “Love Island USA” stands as Peacock’s most-streamed original reality competition series, heightening the anticipation for the show’s fifth season. David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Andy Cadman, Iona Mackenzie and Claudine Parrish serve as executive producers, alongside Tom Gould, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster. Miami Heat star Kevin Love has shared the first picture of his newborn baby he has welcomed with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Bock. The star couple have not yet revealed the baby's name or gender but a first look at the newborn was shared by the NBA player on Instagram this week. Bock shared the picture on her own Instagram story with the caption 'mine' along with a white heart emoji.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Netflix’s controversial reality competition show based on its smash South Korean drama “Squid Game” will finally debut in November, and the streamer offered up a very brief glimpse of reality show “Squid Game: The Challenge” on Saturday during its global, virtual Tudum fan event from Brazil. “The world’s most notorious game becomes reality,” the teaser clip says, before showing contestants exiting their rooms and heading to the game of “Red Light Green Light” — featuring the giant, killer doll that in the scripted “Squid Game” swivels its head around and fires gunshots to eliminate players who were moving. The unscripted game show, which was first announced in June 2022, was shot across two studios in the U.K. and produced by Studio Lambert and The Garden. Like the series, 456 contestants were cast (in this case, from around the world) to compete in various challenges based on the Korean children’s games featured on the show, as well as new games. The winner receives a $4.56 million cash prize.

Weiss — their first large-scale project at the streamer since signing a mega overall deal in 2019 — and Alexander Woo. Based on the book series by Cixin Liu, the eight-episode drama, which recently wrapped production, will launch in January 2024. Per Netflix’s logline for the sci-fi series, “A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes, five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.”

Love Island was full of dramatic scenes on Friday night as two Islanders left the villa after the contestants learnt that the public had been voting for them. During the episode, André Furtado and Charlotte Sumner sadly went home as the Islanders had to pick who they wanted to stay and go home from the six Islanders at risk.Those also in the bottom of the vote included Sammy Root, Zachariah Noble, Leah Taylor and Catherine Agbaje but they were saved by their fellow contestants.
