Victoria's Secret has made history by casting a model with Down's Syndrome to star in one of their campaigns for the first time. After making her runway debut at New York Fashion Week in 2020, 25-year-old Sofia Jirau has now been recruited to star in the lingerie brand's new Love Cloud campaign.The Puerto Rican model took to her Instagram earlier in the week to share her excitement about being cast in Victoria's Secret's mew campaign.

Making history! Sofía Jirau is the first model with Down syndrome to star in a Victoria’s Secret campaign. The 24-year-old Puerto Rican model was tapped as one of the faces for the Love Cloud Collection, a new line of uber-comfy bras and underwear. 

“Love Cloud” collection, released on Valentine’s Day.“One day I dreamed of it, I worked on it and today it is a dream come true. I can finally tell you my big secret… I am the first Victoria’s Secret model with Down syndrome,” Jirau excitedly announced in an Instagram post she shared with her 204,000 followers on Monday.Jirau kickstarted her modeling career in Puerto Rico in 2019.
