The 2020 Emmy Awards have been scheduled to take place on September 20 and the Television Academy still plans on keeping the show on that date.

The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards nominations were announced this morning and, no surprise, the venerable soap “General Hospital” led all series with 23 nominations. “The View” topped all daytime talk shows with eight while newcomer “The Kelly Clarkson Show” earned seven in its first year.
