Kamila Valieva is cementing her place as one of the greatest figure skaters of all time and she is only 15-years-old.
The young Russian figure skater made history while competing in the Team Event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics on Sunday (February 6) in Beijing, China.

Kamila competed alongside the Russian Olympic Committee during the event and won her first-ever Olympic medal, a gold. She’s also expected to win the gold in the women’s free skating next week.
During the team event, Kamila became the first woman to land a quad at the Olympic Games. Not only did she land one during her program, she landed two of them.
“It’s been quite overwhelming. I was very nervous, but I am just glad I was able to execute all of my elements well,” Valieva told reporters (via CNN). “To perform with a team like this means everything. We all did such a good job. I’m very proud of my team.”
