TV viewers have been counting down the weeks until tear-jerker fan favourite 10 Years Younger in 10 Days returns to our screens.The popular Channel 5 series, presented by Cherry Healey, sees a team of experts coming together to help roll back the years for the contributors, who each feel years older than their actual age. In just ten days, they transform their wardrobe, hair, make-up and, most crucially, their confidence before their new look is unveiled to them in the mirror.
In OK!’s first-look, exclusive clip of Wednesday 2 March’s opening episode, viewers are introduced to exhausted mum of six Lisa - who says she’s determined to look in the mirror and be proud so that she can tell her children to do the same. She confesses: “I feel like I've aged a lot, I feel like I look like death warmed up most of the time. And I want to look good.” Lisa, who also shares her dream of starting a new career, then emotionally reveals her reasons for calling on the show for help.
Continuing to speak about what she wants to get out of the experience, Lisa went on to say: “I want to be able to look in the mirror and like what I see.” Lisa then breaks down in tears while speaking about her crisis of confidence before composing herself. “Because if I can't do that, I can't say to my girls, or my boys, ‘Be proud of who you are’ if I'm not proud of who I am.” While viewers will have to await the results of Lisa’s transformation, there’s no doubt that it will leave both her and her
