There are so many LGBTQ-themed films on streaming, and some of the most critically hailed movies are available to watch right now.
We’re going through all of the movies released over the years with prominent queer themes, and ranking them according to critic scores, via Rotten Tomatoes.
Here’s how the ranking was determined: “Culled from a longlist of hundreds, movies considered for the list prominently feature gay, lesbian, trans, or queer characters; concern itself centrally with LGBTQ+ themes; present its LGBTQ+ characters in a fair and realistic light; and/or be seen as a touchpoint in the evolution of queer cinema.”
