“The Offer,” Paramount‘s limited series about the making of Francis Ford Coppola‘s “The Godfather,” came and went in 2022 to barely any fanfare. So why does the studio want to do a similar project for another Coppola classic from the ’70s? World Of Reel reports (via a tweet from Daniel Richtman) that Paramount wants to do a series remake of “The Conversation” for Paramount+.

That’s up from WWE’s current five-year deal for “Raw” with NBCUniversal, said to be worth approximately $250 million-$260 million per year. Netflix has the option to extend the pact for an additional 10 years — or to opt out after five years.
