YouTube star James Charles addresses allegations he sexted with teen boys

James Charles is facing consequences from YouTube after he previously admitted that he sent flirtatious messages to underage boys, who he thought were over 18 at the time.

according to an Insider report. The rule sees that YouTubers can be penalized for “participating in abuse or violence, demonstrating cruelty, or participating in fraudulent/deceptive behavior leading to real world harm.”It’s been previously alleged that Charles, 21, used his status on the site to bait and “groom” minors, including two 16-year-old boys who say they engaged in direct message conversations with the make-up artist that were sexual in nature.

YouTube beauty vlogger James Charles is taking full responsibility for recent allegations that he exchanged inappropriate, flirty messages online with boys who turned out to be underage. The 21-year-old posted a nearly 15 minute video to YT on Apr. 1 titled Holding Myself Accountable where be explained how he believed the people he was interacting with were 18, but didn’t do the due diligence online to find out their true ages.
