It’s Freedom Day today! The day 26 years ago when all South African’s voted for the 1st time! Today’s a day to celebrate being South African. South African’s love their sport. So what better way is there to celebrate than to have a look back at all the greatest South African sporting moments over the last 26 years! And what an amazing sporting history we have so far!

Local Afrikaans pop group Die Heuwels Fantasties have become a vital part of South African music culture in recent years, and the success of their recent singles ‘Jy Stel My Teleur’ en die ‘Mejuffrou Sonneblom’ has only proven that the group is, without a doubt, one of the country’s most talented and versatile bands.

American reality TV star Katie Price opened up about the time she was sexually assaulted and robbed at gun point in South Africa. Earlier this year, the mother of five spent time in a ¬Priory rehab clinic, and was diagnosed with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Katie Price has posted a sweet photo of herself with her protection dog Blade after bravely opening up about the terrifying car jacking that took place in South Africa in 2018.The 41 year old took to her Instagram Feed to share the snap, which sees her dressed in a black jumper and blue jeans with a red cap on top.The former glamour can be seen offering a small smile to the camera as she poses with her guard dog, who sits obediently next to her with his tongue out.

Katie Price has bravely opened up about the terrifying car jacking that took place in South Africa in 2018.The 41 year old model opened up about the ordeal, where she was held at gun point in front of her children, during the first episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins earlier this week. While candidly speaking to former SAS solider Ant Middleton about the robbery, Katie said it had caused her to check into the Priory mental health hospital.
