It's not every day you see Happy Mondays' star Bez whizzing down Oxford Road in a tuk-tuk.
He might be best known as the man with the maracas and the de facto mascot of the Salford group, but today he went full pedal to the metal to help his favourite Manchester restaurant launch their new lunchtime delivery service.
For the first time, Zouk Tea Bar & Grill’s popular lunchtime tiffin offering is now available for delivery in Manchester city centre, following the arrival of the Indian restaurant's new e-trike and metal tiffin tins. So, who better to test out the new rickshaw-style bike than Manchester music icon and Zouk lover, Bez - otherwise known as Mark Berry.

Adding the prestigious title of ‘dabbawalla’ (box collector) to his rich and varied CV, the Happy Mondays star headed out on the trike - which reaches speeds of almost 25mph - to deliver tiffin boxes full of curries, rice, chapatis and salads to offices across Manchester.
"I thoroughly enjoyed the day," he told the Manchester Evening News, after catching his breathe and having a well-deserved sit down at Zouk post delivery shift.
"Zouk is a great restaurant which does brilliant food. They've come up with this rikshaw idea to improve delivery services and I've had a go and I can tell you it's an incredible bit of kit, so high tech.
"I was imagining something where you're sweating your head off peddling along, but this is very modern - it's a small vehicle really. It looks so heavy and cumbersome but it's got electric vehicle technology so it flies along, and I'm happy to say it stops just as quick
