NFL players taking a knee during the National Anthem and raising of the American flag has never got as much attention — and shifts in opinion — as it has in the past 48 hours. It started out when New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in a June 3 interview said, “I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America” by kneeling.

(CNN)Nick Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots, is not giving up on him.Kloots took to Instagram on Wednesday to give fans another health update on her husband, who has been hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles fighting an intense battle with coronavirus for more than two months."I've been told a couple times that he won't make it. I've been told to say goodbye," Kloots wrote alongside a photo of Cordero holding their 11-month-old son.

Brees has now issued a lengthy apology

Nick Cordero has been battling Corornavirus complications at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for over two months now. The Broadway actor has got his right leg amputated due to blood clotting and has undergone a tracheotomy to support his breathing. Nick was diagnosed with Pneumonia initially and tested positive for Coronavirus after his third test. The actor has been putting up a great fight against the novel COVID-19 and has been on the ventilator for over two months.

NFL quarterback Drew Brees can add one more fumble to his career total. The New Orleans Saints star is the latest public figure to spark backlash over his comments surrounding his beliefs on the National Anthem and the United States flag.  On Wednesday, Yahoo Finance interviewed Brees and asked him about his stance on the recent nationwide protests in response to George Floyd's death, who was killed by a Minneapolis police officer on Monday, May 25.

Drew Brees is getting called out by major athletes including LeBron James and Aaron Rodgers.

Amanda Kloots is not giving up on Nick Cordero. The trainer admitted that she's been «told to say goodbye» to her husband, amid his battle with COVID-19 and ongoing health struggles. Posting a black-and-white photo of Cordero holding their son, Elvis, Kloots expressed that she has faith and hopes there can be a miracle.

Nick Cordero's battle with Coronavirus hasn't been an easy one. While some of the patients are able to recover after showing mild symptoms, the Broadway actor is among the ones who have faced extreme complications after testing positive for COVID-19.

Nick Cordero has been fighting Coronavirus in the ICU for nearly two months now. The actor was initially diagnosed with pneumonia until his third test for COVID-19 came back positive. The Broadway actor has had to get his right leg amputated due to Coronavirus complications. After being on the ventilator for two months, Nick finally seems to be responding better to the new treatment being given to him and its a sigh of relief for his wife, Amanda Kloots.

Three days after saying Nick Cordero‘s ongoing and lengthy battle with COVID-19 was “going a little downhill,” his wife, Amanda Kloots, has disclosed that the Broadway star was actually fighting a “new lung infection.”
