U.K. TV giant ITV said Friday that CEO Carolyn McCall and other management board members and directors will take salary and other compensation cuts amid the new coronavirus pandemic.
WrestleMania 36 is just around the corner and amid the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, WWE has made many significant changes in the show and its schedule. Two major changes are that have been made are -- the show will be a two-night event, and it will be tapped with a live audience.
Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic when live shows, movies, serial productions, public places, schools and offices across the world are shut down, WWE fans were expecting the company to cancel their eagerly awaited WrestleMania 36 event. However, the platform decided to go on with the event and entertain their fans who are practicing social distancing in their homes.
The tournament was due to be played between 29 June and 12 July, however this year's championship will now be played in 2021, according to the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Last week it was reported that WWE superstar Roman Reigns has decided to opt out of the WrestleMania 36 Universal Championship match against Goldberg. While initially there was no official confirmation, the 34-year-old wrestler confirmed the news in a lengthy video posted on Instagram. In the clip, Roman also slammed people for criticising his choice and defended his decision to prioritise his health. “Plain and simple, it’s “Nice to be nice”. You should try it ASAP!” he wrote in the caption.
