WRESTLEMANIA PREVIEW: John Cena! Hulk Hogan! Rock Update!

Even before the show aired live, this week’s SmackDown event had caused quite a stir in the WWE Universe amid coronavirus crisis. On March 11, 2020, it was reported that keeping the COVID-19 outbreak in mind, WWE organisers decided to change the venue of the show. The event, which was originally scheduled to take place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, was aired live from WWE Performance Center in Orlando. And that wasn’t all. The wrestlers had to also perform in an empty stadium. 

Just like the fans were promised, John Cena made an appearance on the latest SmackDown show and things got all heated up when he confronted Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend at the event. WWE brought together Cena and Wyatt before their much-anticipated match scheduled for the upcoming WrestleMania 36 event which will take place on April 6, 2020. Giving a preview of just how spicy the fight is going to be, the show featured a verbal confrontation between the two WWE superstars.

This movie release won’t be so fast or furious.

WWE has announced that John Cena will appear on the upcoming episode of SmackDown before locking horns with Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend at WrestleMania 36. The company is trying to hype Cena’s rivalry against Wyatt before the big match to add some extra drama. The Friday Night SmackDown will also feature Jeff Hardy and Paige. The 42-year-old actor-wrestler made his much-anticipated appearance on SmackDown earlier this month after a long break. He also teased his WrestleMania match against Wyatt.

Fast & Furious 9 sees a few new actors joining the franchise. The May 2020 release sees WWE star turned actor John Cena and rapper Cardi B. The Fast & Furious 9 trailer has already revealed Cena's role in the movie. Now, OG Fast & Furious member Vin Diesel spills the beans on working with John Cena and Cardi B's casting in the movie. The Bloodshot actor recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to share talk about Cena and Cardi.

It was towards the end of February 2020, when John Cena finally returned to WWE and gave a passionate promo of how wrestling will always be home for him, in spite of his growing Hollywood career.

Currently, The Beast in the WWE Champion and will be going against Drew McIntryre aka The Scottish Psychopath at Wrestlemania 36, set to be held next month. In an earlier interview, John Cena had been all praises for Brock, calling him the best WWE in-ring performer of all time. Now, another WWE rival of Lesnar's is praising the 42-year-old wrestler.

Nikki Bella is shutting down rumors that she shaded ex-fiancé John Cena with a cryptic tweet. The Total Bellas star, 36, raised eyebrows when she recently posted about “misery” and teaching someone you love to live “with kindness.” Nikki opened up about the non-issue on the March 4 episode of the Bellas Podcast with twin sister Brie Bella, swearing that she wasn’t shading John, whom she broke up with in 2018 after six years together.

Last week, John Cena finally made an appearance during the Friday Night SmackDown episode after staying away from the ring for a long time. During the episode, WWE even teased a fight between Cena and The Fiend for WWE Wrestlemania 36, and since then, that is all the fans are talking about.

However, in some comforting news, WWE fans will be happy to know what Bray will be getting his time to shine in the spotlight, i.e. Wrestlemania 36 as it was revealed in this week's WWE SmackDown that his opponent would be none other than the returning John Cena.

The Bangtan Boys made their first appearance on the show since the release of their new album Map of the Soul: 7 and they kissed all inhibitions goodbye. James Gunn has been teasing his first DCEU venture "The Suicide Squad" from time to time on social media. The Guardians of the Galaxy director addresses fan queries about the movie and responds to them with as much information as he can give without giving away spoilers. He has previously spoken about Harley Quinn and addressed Robert Pattinson's Batman connection with the movie. Now, the ace director has revealed that The Suicide Squad might not see all the stars crossing the finishing line. 

Giving us some exciting news on WWE Backstage was Renee Young who revealed to the world that John Cena would be making his highly-awaited return to WWE on the February 28, 2020 episode of SmackDown. However, there has been no confirmation as to the direction his return would be taking with many assuming that John's comeback will kickstart his potential rivalry for Wrestlemania 36.
