Don Cheadle has joined The Wonder Years reboot pilot!

Joe Otterson TV ReporterDon Cheadle will serve as the narrator on the “Wonder Years” reboot pilot currently in the works at ABC, Variety has confirmed.Cheadle will voice the adult version of main character Dean, who will played by Elisha Williams. Daniel Stern served as the narrator on the original series.The pilot will show how a black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama in the turbulent late 1960s, made sure it was The Wonder Years for them too.

EXCLUSIVE: The Wonder Years reboot has found its narrator. Don Cheadle has been tapped to play adult Dean Williams in ABC’s single-camera pilot from Saladin Patterson, the original series’ Fred Savage and Lee Daniels.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterElisha “EJ” Williams has been cast in the main role of “The Wonder Years” pilot at ABC, Variety has learned.The project will show how a black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama in the turbulent late 1960s, made sure it was The Wonder Years for them too.Williams will star in the role of Dean, described as an inquisitive and hopeful 12-year-old kid coming of age in a turbulent time.

rd Grammy Awards are being held this weekend, on Sunday 14 March. Some of the world’s biggest artists are nominated and will also perform on the night, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Cardi B and BTS.

Alabama rapper Chika has covered Billie Eilish’s 2020 single “my future” as part of Spotify’s ongoing Singles series, alongside a new version of her 2020 single “U Should”. The choice of cover is a nod to the fact that, last year, Eilish won the Grammy award for Best New Artist, the category Chika is competing in at this coming weekend’s ceremony.
