41-year-old man appears in court charged with murdering woman

Manchester Magistrates Court this morning.Mr Smith, of Ashton Road, Oldham, is charged with the murder of a woman who has now been named on the court record as Imogen Bohajczuk.Police were called at around 12.15pm on March 4 this year to a report of concern for the welfare of a woman at an address on Ashton Road. Emergency services attended and Ms Bohajczuk was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.Mr Smith spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
