Doing the washing is a tedious never ending chore that many of us dislike and the debate around personal hygiene and how often we should be cleaning has recently been a hot topic of conversation on social media. The internet was recently left divided after it was revealed that some people don't shower every day, the Mirror reports.
Now a woman on TikTok has caused further controversy after confessing she doesn't wash her pyjamas after every wear but instead only sticks them into the washing machine after she has gotten a few nights wear out of them. Her revelation has left many people appalled as they deemed her habit to be unhygienic but the woman has argued that she doesn't see what the problem is.
Alison Delperdang who often shares relatable content to her 11k followers about things to do with adult life and weddings recently shared a clip asking social media users how often they wash their pyjamas. In the post she said: "I need to know if people wear pyjamas multiple nights in a row.
"When I was younger my parents would always make us wear pyjamas multiple nights in a row as they weren't dirty. And I still do that as an adult." She then asks her followers what their views are on the subject and if they believe she should be washing her pyjamas after every night as an adult.
She continued "I need to know, as adults are we still doing that. Or should I literally be making dirty clothes every single night." Her fans were left divided by her confession as some agreed it's totally acceptable to re-wear pyjamas a couple of nights in a row while others were left baffled.
One person replied: "Wait. There's people who don't wear their PJs multiple nights in a row?" While another agreed: "Absolutely wear them multiple times."
