Woman shares grandma's genius trick to get too-tight jeans to fit

There's nothing more frustrating than not being able to fit into your new jeans. But you're not alone, it's a universal issue that needs some resolving and one grandma seems to have the hack. In a recent TikTok video a blogger shared that the jeans she bought second-hand don't fit.
She'd opted for a pair in a size down from what she'd normally wear as they were the only ones remaining. Lily shared: "I spoke to my nana about them, and she said 'have you showered in them yet?' I was like, 'what? No, I haven't showered in my jeans.

"She was like, 'just trust me, shower in them, wear them around the house, stretch them out a little bit, and then let them air dry and don't put them in the dryer again'." She explained that she followed her grandma's unique advice and showered in the jeans before air drying them the next day. And it worked! Lily's followers were amazed as she shared that the trick went down a treat and allowed the TikToker to slip seamlessly into the new jeans. "My sensory issues are strong but my desire to fit the thrifted jeans in the back of my closet is stronger," one person commented.
