A woman was left horrified after a Morrisons delivery driver messaged her online just hours after dropping off her order. Molly claims the worker contacted her personal Facebook account and "liked" a string of her pictures before she was able to block him.
The 28-year-old, who lives in Northfield, in outer South Birmingham, contacted the Morrisons store to complain, but claims the supermarket didn't initially "take it seriously at all". She also alerted Ocado - who is contracted to deliver for the store - with both companies now promising to conduct a full investigation.
The beautician had placed her shopping order online last month before it was dropped off at her flat. Speaking to Birmingham Live, Molly said: "When he delivered the shopping he was pleasant, absolutely fine and said thanks for shopping with us.
"He brought the shopping up to my flat and I said 'thank you'. It was a very small conversation we had."
Yet six hours later she says she was horrified to discover the driver had apparently tracked her down on Facebook - and sent her a personal message. He had also seemingly been looking through her pictures.
She said: "He delivered the shopping to me and then later looked up my name on social media and tried to message me. He just said 'Hi' then started liking photographs of me on my Facebook page, which to me insinuates something else.
"It's obviously a massive data breach. I live on my own, I'm a young lady. It is really scary.
"I called Morrisons but they seemed disinterested and said 'Maybe somebody will call you back about this'."
She looked up the driver online and claims he also works as a part-time taxi cabbie. "In his Facebook bio it said he was also a taxi driver," she said.
"I thought, 'if you're doing that
