A woman has died after crashing her car in Greenock during Storm Dennis.
Emergency services raced to Shankland Road at around 11.15pm on Saturday night after reports of the single vehicle crash.
The 38-year-old was pulled out from her grey Ford Fiesta after it left the road, before being taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital, where she sadly died later.
Police Scotland is now appealing for information after the fatal crash.
