An inquest heard how a woman tragically died just 20 days after undergoing weight loss surgery.
Office administrator Jane Davies, 49, had a gastric sleeve fitted while in hospital after struggling to lose weight.
Despite initially making good progress following the operation at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, Jane sadly took a turn for the worse, developing sepsis, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.
She lost her life on June 24.
