A woman who violently stabbed her young boyfriend to death shamelessly tried to 'justify what she did' in court.
Natalie Bennett, 47, killed her partner Kasey Anderson, 24, after knifing him in the heart, the Liverpool Echo reports. She then attempted to stab him in the head as he lay helplessly on a neighbour's driveway and said he was 'dying'.
Yesterday (October 4), jurors saw through her lies and Bennett was convicted of murder following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court. But during the trial, she shamelessly branded her boyfriend a drug dealer and a violent abuser as she desperately tried to get away with his murder.

The court heard how Mr Anderson died a week before his 25th birthday in March this year after being slashed several times with a knife and suffering two stab wounds. He pleaded for help, telling a 999 call handler than 'he was dying', but Bennett told police that he had arrived at her home on Carr Lane East in Croxteth 'like that'.
During her evidence, she sought to 'besmirch his character' from the witness box in order to 'justify what she did'. The remorseless murderer stated that their relationship had first begun when Mr Anderson was aged around 20 after he 'came to her home selling cocaine to her mate', having previously known him as a child through being friendly with his family.
