Police are appealing for information after a pensioner died following a fatal crash on the A9 last night.

A woman aged 25 has died after she fell ill at the Creamfields music festival in Cheshire, police have revealed. The woman, who hasn't been named but is from the Neath area of South Wales, was taken to hospital last Friday night, but sadly died in the early hours of today, Tuesday.
Police said they were 'notified' she had taken ill at around 10.15pm on August 26 and confirmed she was taken to Warrington District General Hospital, where she passed away despite the best efforts of medics. Police chiefs said an investigation was underway but 'there is nothing to suggest that there are any suspicious circumstances'.
The news follows the sad confirmation of the death of a 16-year-old boy from Worsley, Salford, after he fell ill after taking drugs at the Leeds Festival. David Celino tragically passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, August 28.
The teenager had been taken to hospital from Bramham Park, where the hit music festival was being held this weekend, on Saturday night after falling ill and appearing at the medical tent. David's family have paid tribute to a 'beautiful' teenager, saying his death has left them 'broken'.
Revealing details of the death, Cheshire Police, reported a total of 39 arrests were made and 209 crimes reported at the four-day Creamfields festival, held in Daresbury, Cheshire.
In a statement, the force said: "In addition, 71 people were spoken to by police in relation to possession of illegal drugs and ejected from the site. They will be dealt with through criminal justice processes at a later stage. A further 42 people were dealt with via local resolution – these people were not arrested but have been recorded as being involved in drugs.
