The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were warning people to be extra cautious at the weekend after the heatwave sparked wildfires in West Lothian.
Fire crews were called in from stations locally and elsewhere to tackle the blazes that had broken out in Fauldhouse, Armadale and Bathgate.
Firefighters from stations including Linlithgow, Bathgate, Dunblane and Larbert battled to bring the forest fires under control in soaring temperatures.
