Stacey Solomon has been gearing up to wed fiancé Joe Swash since the pair got engaged two years ago. In the lead up for her big day Stacey, 32, has ensured that she’s been keeping her loyal fans up to date on the creations she’s been working on and a stunning hair transformation.
Before going off social media for a few days, the Tap to Tidy author showed off her garden transformation by IKEA for a good cause. Stacey and Joe, 40, are to exchange vows at their incredible Pickle Cottage home in Essex and the pair’s decision to have their wedding at home has meant that she’ll be having not one, but two ceremonies.
"So excited for you and your family. Being nosey but I always wanted to get married at home and didn't think you could? How does it work?" one of her 5.3million followers questioned, followed by a black heart emoji.
Reposting the message, Stacey explained: "To get married anywhere legally, the place has to have a "civil ceremony" licence. "One of the requirements for this licence is that the premises must be made "readily available" for ceremonies..." The Loose Women panellist said this isn't something she and fiancé Joe, 40, wanted to do as she continued: "As this is our private family home and we need it to remain that way we couldn't go for that option," followed by a crying with laughter emoji.
She added: "So we are having a relaxed private blessing in front of our closest friends & family and a ceremony of our love to each other and we will register our marriage legally after… "Hope this helps," with two black heart emojis. As the wedding draws close, Stacey took to Instagram on Sunday 24 July and penned: "Just wanted to take a moment to say.Thank you for your beautiful messages and the kindest well wishes
