Love Island couples are subjected to numerous tests during their time in the villa, including Casa Amor and the babies challenge. The tasks continue to test their commitment to each other as well as their compatibility and romantic connection, but there was previously one challenge that really caused tension between the Islanders.

ITV bosses had received numerous complaints about the lie detector test in the past, and in 2019 they revealed that it had been axed and would not be part of that year's series.
The decision was made after the death of a guest on The Jeremy Kyle Show, Steven Dymond, which led to the daytime TV show being permanently cancelled. Steven had appeared on the show alongside his partner after being accused of cheating.
