Kanye West, 44, feels “betrayed” by Pete Davidson, 28, and there’s a whole lot more to his reasoning than some may assume. Aside from the Saturday Night Live star dating the rapper’s ex, Kim Kardashian, 41, Kanye feels a personal betrayal from the comedian.
“Kanye definitely feels betrayed when it comes to Pete. Despite their public banter in the past when Pete was on SNL, they actually had become friendly,” a source close to Ye EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife. “They have hung in the same circle of friends for years and so Kanye knew Pete long before he began dating Kim.”
“Then for Pete to go with Kim to the same place she took him to celebrate his 40th birthday, really hurt,” the insider continued. “Kanye also feels it was incredibly disrespectful that they started dating even before his divorce was finalized. He thinks that’s a line you just don’t cross. Kanye will never be cool with Pete.”

After Kim and Kanye announced their split in Feb. 2021, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was linked with Pete in October of that year. They were spotted soaking up the sun in the Bahamas a few months later in celebration of New Year’s.
As we previously reported, that was another point of contention for Kanye because the lovebirds visited the same place in the Bahamas that Kim took Kanye for his 40th birthday celebration in June 2017. Kim and Pete checked into the A-List approved Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club, a private resort

Showing support. Jon Stewart is the latest celebrity to come to Pete Davidson’s defense amid the Saturday Night Live star’s ongoing feud with Kanye West.
“I know Pete [Davison] real well,” Jon Stewart said during the Mar. 22 episode of SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. Jon, 59, and Pete, 28, were recently photographed together at a New York Knicks game, and Stewart dished on his friendship with the Saturday Night Live funnyman. He also gave love to Pete for handling the drama with Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husband, Kanye West. “[Pete’s] just a kid trying to live his life. He’s one of my favorite people. He’s just a f-ckin’ smart, funny kid just trying to live his life, and he’s caught up — I think he’s doing as best he can in that situation, when you’re dealing with something that’s so explosive and loaded with all kinds of other things, and I just love that kid.”

Despite the “Famous” singer accusing Kim of keeping him away from their four children and sharing videos of Pete being buried alive, Julia said Kanye is “harmless,” per TMZ.
Pete Davidson isn’t the only celeb feuding with Kanye West at the moment. D.L. Hughley has entered the chat and he’s not holding back. D.L. took to Twitter to sling insults at the “Gold Digger” rapper and on top of that, unofficially declared war by using the hashtag #TeamDl and indicating that there are sides to choose. “Ye is at it again huh??” he tweeted, kicking off his string of tweets. “Welp at least I wasn’t crying on the phone about how big Pete’s Peter is! If you want her back instead acting up why don’t you try doing some d**k ups! #TeamDl.”
